You will meet the power of the Norse Goddesses, Freyja, Frigg, Hel, and the Norns who carve the runes of Fate. You will meet Oðinn, the seiðrmann and wise sage who teaches us to journey to hidden realms. You will learn magic, divination, and spiritual practices for your own spiritual journey. Most importantly, the course will empower you to be a healing force and change in the world.
This course is not an attempt to recreate the world of late iron–age Scandinavia, nor is the goal to re-enact the historic past. Rather, it is a living, breathing practice on which we stand deeply rooted in the world today. My spiritual practice is based on old Norse history, written sources, and folk traditions but always in service to the needs and visions of the world today. It is animist in nature, breaking down ideas of hierarchy and violence. It is a course which centres around reciprocity and relationship to Nature. This practice honours all life and all beings on our Mother Earth.

Hier slapen we op de vrijdag- en zaterdagavond.
Je kunt er een tentje opzetten en er zijn twee slaapzolders met eenvoudige plekken.
Er is een badkamer en een klein keukentje om even iets op te warmen.
Natuurlijk kun je ook een B&B in de buurt boeken.
In de Betuwe in de omgeving van Buren is er genoeg keuze.

Marieke van De Groene Ketel zorgt voor heerlijke voedende warme biologische vegetarische maaltijden.
Er is thee en koffie met lekkers. Fruit is er van het seizoen uit de boomgaard en moestuin van De Cruydthof.
Toch neem je ook zelf wat mee!
Namelijk je lunch voor de eerste dag.
En als je hier blijft slapen, zorg je ook zelf voor
dat wat je nodig hebt voor twee ontbijtjes.
Er is een koelkast.

Dat hebben wij voor je geregeld. We gaan namelijk ieder van de zes weekenden het Land op en de natuur in.
Zorg voor lekkere warme schoenen en kleding voor elk weertype.

Een drum is heel fijn en geen verplichting.
Heb je er eentje, neem die dan telkens mee; net als iets om in te schrijven.

Your Guide and your Lovely
Through the wisdom of the Earth, all her beings and the knowledge from the Ancestors I work for healing.
I want to create circles where we journey between the worlds, heal our woundings, hold each other and meet the powers around us and within ourselves.
I work from a Norse Animistic and Shamanic tradition.
Through Seidr, Runes and Galdr my Hugr travels from the highest branches of Yggdrasil, the world tree, to the roots in the underworld, nourished by the white waters of the Well of Urdr where the Norns carve Runes on wood and spin threads of fate.
I am dedicated to Goddess with her many faces. Freja – closest to our hearts, Hel – Dark Mother, Ran – Mother of the Sea, Eir – Guide to Lyfjaberg/the healing mountain and many more.
I weave and dance with Goddess and the elements in a wheel of the year birthed by the Glastonbury Goddess Temple.
With my roots in the lime stone of Gotland, I have the magic of living folklore, Di sma under jordi (the little people under the earth) and communication with the spirit world.
Everything in a Shamanic and Animistic practice the Earth, our Mother Earth and all her beings talk to us.

I will be a student of Olof, just like you are.
In 2017 in Glastonbury, I met Zindra Andersson and Marga Nobell, both from Gotland and both Völvas; we were Circle Sisters in Esoteric Soul Healing.
Their Old Ways and Nordic Seidr Magick stirred something very deep in me.
Marga’s teachings were in Swedish and Zindra’s Freya-Path in Glastonbury was ”too much Freya” to me, too specific. So the stirring became still.
And then I met Olof, again Glastonbury was the place that brought us in Circle together. As Olof is from Gotland, he knows ”my” two Völvas Marga and Zondra, very well and our connection was instant and very easy.
And so it became to what it is now: The Path of the Völva in Holland!
Because a large part of this Path will take place at De Cruydthof, in my Temple space, I will hold space for the circle effortlessly and organically;
I will be a ”lovely” to Olof and take care of all logistics in and around the Temple.
I will be happily in service to you, to the circle and to Olof as teacher; I am longing to deepen my connection with this Land, with the Goddess I serve so deeply, Hella, and to dis-cover more of my roots via the ”Nordic” Ways.
When I take my Staff, place it firmly on the ground and against my third eye…I know She is there: the Völva in me.
